The Field family's routes in funeral service can be traced back to 1690, making the family one of the longest serving to have been continuously engaged in the provision of funeral services in the United Kingdom and Europe. Whilst the businesses have evolved over the years, the family's commitment to care and exceptionally high standards has not.
Following the hostile takeover of the Field's
original family business in 1995, Colin Field established a new firm
in order to focus on providing the very highest standards of service
in the provision of funeral care.
Since our foundation, we have
sought to build a network of funeral homes that provide all that a
bereaved family could possibly want from a funeral director. Working
with established funeral directors, our business has grown to offer
the highest standards of care and service throughout
Buckinghamshire, Dorset, East Sussex, London, Kent, Surrey and West
Sussex.
Whilst anecdotal evidence shows the family's roots in the funeral profession back to 1690, documentary sources show 10 consecutive generations have served in the profession. Sadly, no pictures remain of Robert Field, his son, also Robert, or John Field
