A little bit of history...
|

Christopher has been in Funeral Service in the greater Brighton community for many years and after working in Brighton as a Chauffeur / Bearer he came to Rottingdean where he has deservedly grown an excellent reputation as a Funeral Director.
|
|
Having become an integral part of the Rottingdean community Chris felt that it would be more rewarding to work with a Funeral Directing family whose ideals were similar to his own. Having worked with Colin Field in the past he approached him with a view to assisting him in opening his own funeral home in Rottingdean.
|
|
Today Christopher Stringer is the only Funeral Director in Rottingdean and Christopher himself has become a central figure in village life. Whether it is playing the organ in Church or raising funds for community's charities Christopher can always be seen leading the way. Together the Stringer and Field family names have helped to build the community Funeral Director that Christopher envisaged when he first spoke to Colin over ten years ago.
