A little bit of history...  

 

The beginnings of Edmund and Sons of Brixton and Clapham are something of a familiar tale for The Traditional Family Funeral Company. 

 

The business in Brixton commenced under another title and we are the successors to Alan Wigley in Clapham.  The Edmund & Sons name came about when Eddie Dipper, a former colleague and friend of the Field family, sought to break free of the company with whom he had been associated.

 

Eddie, who has a detailed & specialist knowledge as well as skills in the complex area of Repatriation of the deceased both to and from this Country, brought his skills as Funeral Director to our family company and has since quietly expanded his funeral service around South London.

 

Since then his role with the company has further expanded and he is now responsible for the day to day management of all Traditional Family Funeral Company Funeral Homes in Greater London.
