Christopher Stringer Funeral Service is a family owned Funeral Director in Rottingdean and Moulsecoomb. Christopher and his team have been caring for the bereaved of Rottingdean for over 20 years. More recently, Christopher has established a new funeral home in Moulsecoomb, Brighton.
From our comfortable and modern funeral homes in Rottingdean and Moulsecoomb, Christopher Stringer Funeral Service provides all of the services that you would expect from your local Funeral Director.

A little bit of history...
Christopher has been in Funeral Service in the greater Brighton community for over 20 years and after working in Brighton, he moved to Rottingdean where he has since grown an excellent reputation for care and service.
Having become an integral part of the Rottingdean community, Chris felt that it would be more rewarding to work with a Funeral Directing family whose ideals were similar to his own. Having worked with Colin Field in the past, he approached him with a view to assisting him in opening his own funeral home in Rottingdean.
Today, Christopher Stringer Funeral Service is the only Funeral Director in Rottingdean and Christopher himself has become a central figure in village life. Whether it is playing the organ in Church or raising funds for the community's charities, Christopher can always be seen leading the way. Together, the Stringer and Field family names have helped to build the community Funeral Director that Christopher envisaged when he first spoke to Colin over ten years ago.
More recently, Christopher has established a further funeral home in Moulsecoomb, where members of his family still live. Again, Christopher together with his colleague and brother-in-law, Shaun, are building their place in this new community.
