The prices shown are for the coffin or casket only and are additional to our funeral charges and any disbursements we may have to pay on your behalf. The Willow Coffins are available in the two different styles being traditional and round ended and come in two different colour shades being White and Traditional. The Hastings Coffin is the first of our solid coffins and being of solid Pine from sustainable forestry sources has appeal to the environmentally and ecologically aware, being suitable, for either burial or cremation. It has a polished finish and is fitted with six pine wood handles, brass effect plate placed on a pine mount and bell top coffin closures. It may help you in your choice of coffin or casket to see any of the above selection, which we shall be happy to arrange from the limited stock we hold. Given the options you have to choose from, in certain coffins or caskets in this range, it is possible that your personal choice will not be available for inspection and viewing immediately as it will have to be made to your specific order.
In addition to the range of coffins and caskets as detailed, we are able to offer, cardboard coffins (which are no longer accepted for cremation at certain crematoria) and a special range of metal caskets more usually associated with the American style of funerals. Such items are available to special order and individual pricing.
It is possible that the illustrations as shown and contained within our coffin and casket presenter may change as to content or style of handle or fitting from time to time, they are supplied subject to availability from manufacturers of these special items, where a substitution is required we will provide a similar or better quality product at no extra charge.
It should be noted that natural products of the same species such as wood, seagrass and willow may vary in shade, grain and colouring.
